I've always dreamt of drumming. Digging among my dad's old records, which was meaningless to me, I always chose those bands the music of which seemed powerful. Budka Suflera, Niemen, SBB, Perfect - the first ones which inspired me so much, that I tested their rhythm on almost all pillows and my mum's cooking accessories.
And I really drummed. Until there came Osada Vida. Here I first took up playing bass guitar. I still discover this instrument, which is somehow a bridge between drum beats and guitar riffs. However, I play the bass more in a guitar way. I'm even laughed at by some music shop sellers when they see me tuning my gear.
I will not be too original about the bass players I appreciate the most: Geddy Lee, Tony Levin, Jonas Reingold, Billy Sheehan, Dave Meros. Each has something special in playing, which I'd like to steal and make up a new mixture. Like monsters from "Space Jam"
In music, I never say never. I don't reject things at once. I'm keen on Strauss, as well as Prince & Miecz Szczesniak and finally Death & Slayer. The only thing I disapprove of is artificiality and creating music on order.
