OSADA VIDA ANNOUNCED FOR ROSFEST 2011

RoSfest is pleased to announce Poland’s Osada Vida. The band is Adam Podzimski - drums & percussion, Lukasz Lisiak - bass, vocal, Rafal Paluszek - keyboards and Bartek Bereska - guitars. To date the band has recorded 5 albums. "Critical Moment" (2000), "Osada Vida" (2004) "Three Seats Behind A Triangle" (2006) "The Body Parts Party" (2008) and very highly acclaimed "Uninvited Dreams" (2009).

In 2007 the band signed to Poland’s Metal Mind Productions. For MMP Osada Vida recorded the next two full – length albums: "The Body Parts Party" (2008) and very highly acclaimed "Uninvited Dreams" (2009).

The music has been warmly received throughout Europe, The USA and Latin America, and is currently garnering excellent reviews for their critically acclaimed Uninvited Dreams album.

The band has extensively toured with the likes of Fish, Riverside, Believe, The Black Noodle Project and many others.

As time passed, Osada Vida started to play heavier, on one side, but on the other side, they incorporated more jazzy and ambient elements with a little bit of electronics. They are still developing their music, so no one knows where music will lead them... but we know that RoSfest will have them for a day on May 21st 2011 as our first band for the Saturday lineup.

Osada Vida completed work on the latest clip!
Last OV's album is titled "Uninvited Dreams". After the success of this cd, the band decided to make a video to the title track. The clip perfectly reflects the climate and nature of this fresh and original music. Osada Vida hope that the video will stimulate the imagination of listeners, and this will encourage them to listen the entire album.

Lukasz Lisiak, OV's singer and bass player, says of this latest video:
"We feel, that this image shows perfectly the feeling, which is elusive and difficult to remember – the moment when you wake up from a bad dream. The whole video is a very dreamy, but at times very intense. Sometimes there's a lot of colours, but soon after that everything becomes black and white. We like that climate and we are very pleased with the results which we have achieved. "

Darek Switala, video's director, tells:
"The OV's music is very original and also quite plastic, which gave us the opportunity to talk about the images of what is happening in a dream. Because the video for "Uninvited Dreams" is basically the image of sleep, which may be any of us dreamed. We have unrest in there, but also the flashbacks and quite unexpected, inexplicable memories. Ultimately, we want the whole was convincing in its unreality. So that's why we used the Blue Box and put on a lot of computer effects. "

Osada Vida always care about the visual experience of their music. The band attaches great importance to the artwork, the look of website, the visualizations, which are specially prepared to illustrate the different songs at gigs. Video premiere of "Uninvited Dreams" soon, so stay tuned.

Our third full-lenght album!
The CD – as it was also before – is a concept album. Titled “Uninvited Dreams” includes 65 minutes of music (in its regular edition), presented in 7 songs:

3. CHILDMARE (A GOODNIGHT STORY)
4. LACK OF DREAMS
5. IS THIS DEVIL FROM SPAIN?

Digipack version, besides more interesting artwork, will include 3 extra songs: “2304”, “S.L.E.E.P.” and a special single version of the song “UNINVITED DREAMS”.

"Uninvited Dreams" will be released by Metal Mind Productions in November 2009 in Europe and in December 2009 in USA. The album will be available in two editions: as a standard jewel case CD and as a digipak with the mentioned 3 bonus tracks.
